Greenstone Inn: Rollin' Up the Sidewalks

Much of the action this week took place indoors. In fact things were so slow outside that they rolled up the sidewalk— LITERALLY. The back side of the building moved along, dodging the weather. But Friday’s 45mph horizontal rain storm forced everyone inside. Another Semi full of sheetrock arrives. This time for the first floor. Looking up the elevator shaft – 2 stories Looking down – 2 stories Stair Well getting rocked. Above: Atrium and hall wall board gets started. Left: The insulators snuck one in on me, as I didn’t even know they were there until I showed up in the garage just in time to see them leaving. Above & left: Work proceeded on trimming out the rear of the building in a protected niche. Some driveway forms are visible here as well. Above: The excavator made quick work of rolling up the sidewalk. Right: Friday morning’s storm pinned us all down. I understand the guys had Cocoa & S’mores.
