Greenstone Inn: Heating Up and Taking Sides

With the weather hardly cooperating, the boys press on with the siding, door installations, fireplace surrounds and finishing the S.W. tower’s stair construction. Inside the building the Sheet Rocker’s move along steadily, while others continue insulating, soundproofing, etc. But the big news is that things are Heating Up at the Greenstone! The “taping crew” puts on the first coat of mud and tape. Wall board fills the 2nd floor hall. First coat: taped ‘n’ troweled. Finished stair in the tower. The crews take up sides as the second floor wall board gets loaded. The big news (from the Sheet Rocker’s perspective) is the “heating up” of the units. Here a worker hooks up one of the Heater/AC units. The second coat of mud, visible here, will now dry and cure properly. By Friday afternoon the Greenstone’s “look” was taking shape.
