This week the Greenstone cleared its framing inspection, and so it was off to the races insulating, installing sound deadening batts and covering it all with sheet rock. The main crew took care of many small projects around the site including roofing details and siding. A couple of last minute windows going in. Installing A/C units & F.P. vents. The decks get a self-
stick waterproof membrane prior to final surfacing. Work starts on installing the load of doors that arrived. Thermal insulation in the ceilings of the top floor and sound proofing batts in common walls between units (and floors) goes in. Following the insulators, its time to start rockin out on the ceiling
but quietly - due to our sound proofing dont cha know! Above: Here we have two of the bathrooms in the process of getting sheetrocked and durarocked.
Custom shower on the left and standard tub, right. Above: We have two views of one of the rooms being wall boarded. The crew is amazing. In a matter of just hours they hang all the rock in the unit. First crew hangs the ceiling, followed by a second crew doing walls. Averaging one unit a day they moved steadily along the top floor all week.
