With all this talk about green construction the Greenstone will still need to be hooked to the power grid. Lincoln County PUD needed to update the feed with a new pole; which also helped fix the 75 volt leak they found in the 7,000 volt line. On the garage level (above) the new 650 amp Main Panel goes in, flanked by two 125 amp panels and the solar converters on the right. Looking up the stair shaft you can see the Sub Panels on each floor. Here we see one of the Sub Panels which are filling up quickly. In order to not interrupt our service PUD re-routed two Sub Stations (one from the North and one from the South) and then broke the connection at our pole. Next they gently raised a new pole, snaking it between the hot wires, telephone, cable, and possibly even an old telegraph line or two. The new pole set, two crews began hooking up cross beams and insulators, then moving the lines.
