Greenstone Inn: High Work

The weather finally relented and work went on in earnest as the boys pieced together the Greenstone’s roof truss jig-saw puzzle. Meanwhile, the plumbers continued installing miles of pipe and scores of elbows. Above: Lots of “high work” going on this week. Above: Two “high lifts” were employed to ready the trusses for their sheathing and completing additional wall sheathing. Above: Putting on the first course of roof sheathing, and installing the roof jacks and scaffold boards make further sheathing and roofing much safer. Looking up the stair shaft (on the South East corner) from the garage level gives a good idea of just how tall the building has become.
