Greenstone Inn: Up on the Roof

The lyrics from this Drifters song were echoing in my ears all this week as the attention of the crew was on getting to the roof framing. On Thursday the trusses arrived and everybody was up on the roof. The week started with finishing the framing on the third floor (mostly in a steady rain). Finishing off some wall sheathing (left) and building a temporary platform to work off of (above) while booming up the trusses (right). Oregon Truss Company delivers the Greenstone’s roof. Settin’ trusses, with luck, the “topping out” could come next week.
