Greenstone Inn: Up, Up, and Away...

Against the backdrop of, what I promise, is the last of my disappearing view shots, our boys are hard at work raising the Greenstone’s frame. Other work goes on around the site as well. Nailing up sheathing on the first story walls and beginning the Lobby/Courtyard framing. For most of the week one crew worked on laying the second floor joist and sheathing. The Sprinkler folks made steady progress installing endless pipe. The Lobby walls go up and the outdoor Courtyard is taking shape. Here, the largest of the units, a two bedroom with a kitchen, takes form. Another unit awaits the joisting for the cantilevered deck above and interior walls.By Friday morning most everyone was up on the top decking out the second story floor, which continued all day, sheathing out 75% of the diaphragm. 5-Star Welding put up some columns. Our view may be gone but many yet to come will be blessed.
