Greenstone Inn: All Hands on Deck...except the welder!

Serious carpentry was the order of the day this week as the crew began prepping the beams, hanging floor joist and putting down subfloor while the welder finished his work down below. Setting Floor Joist (many of which were recycled from the foundation forms). …framing and welding in the rain… Thank you Gene Kelly! Shoring and forming for a concrete floor on the first story. Workin' the beams end to end. Despite the mid-week rain shower which was a jolt, after so many days of good weather, our team moved on steadily. Thursday evening we got a lovely sunset which just begged to help show off the Greenstone's imposing structure. The crew did manage to get more subfloor down on Friday, covering over this space.
