Thank You!
Where it all comes from... This is part of my studio which occupies our Dining Room A good custom this time of year is extending thanks to those who have touched your life; and so I give all of you "THANKS!" Thank you for visiting this site and revisiting it; for touching my life so to speak. In only the six short months we've been here we have had over 2,500 requests for pages. As website startups go that may not seem like a lot. But what makes it special for me is the fact that this has happened at all – due to how this site is structured. You see, each page is one big image with all the text embedded in it, so the web site spiders have no html text to crawl. Hence, the site is largely invisible to the search engines. This was an experiment on my part to see if this site could turn into a regional presence. Instead of pursuing world-wide-web exposure I ran a number
of teaser ads in the local newspaper (where I work as a graphic designer).
This has apparently worked, and I'm thrilled that most of my visitors are my neighbors. Hopefully you have been entertained by the tales from Yaquina City. Hopefully you have enjoyed the artwork contained here. And hopefully you have been broadened by my writings. This coming year looks to be difficult for many of us. But when the stress gets too great I do hope you will stop in here for a bit of relief from this world's RealityScapes. Join me in the PU for a good DreamScape or two. And, oh yea, tell a friend about DreamScapes. Again, thanks, and may God bless...
