Drawing and Paintings
Beginning at age 6 I picked up a pencil and I have never put it down; I've always drawn something. But for 30 years years I did not do very many fine art images.
Back at it now, and favoring the quiet surrealism of Renee Magrite & M,C. Esher, my images truly are dreamscapes. Pencil is my favorite medium, The stream beginning here features these drawings.
As you move backward through time, here, you will eventually come to some of my early works (sadly, the originals were destroyed in a fire), I apologize for the poor quality of these photos, but it seemed good to let you see some of my roots.
Other works should be the title of this stream which is dedicated to my "other images," including drawings, paintings and electronic images. I give myself license, here, to experiment with many different mediums, and adding electronica to this mix gets more intriguing to me every day.
Included in this string are a number of images I've done for church groups I have been affiliated with. Religious symbolism and inspiration are very powerful for me, and so I include them unashamedly; a good image is, after all, a good image, whatever the subject matter.
